Parliamentary elections are held in Estonia on 5 March 2023.

The right to vote abroad applies to Estonian citizens living abroad permanently and to voters who are temporarily staying abroad and are included in the list of voters. The elections information notice is sent to voters living in foreign states only electronically. The electronic elections information notice is sent to all voters who have redirected their official e-mail in “eesti.ee” environment.

At the Riigikogu elections, a voter permanently residing abroad must determine their electoral district on the basis of their former place of residence in Estonia or their parents’ or ancestors’ place of residence.

Estonian citizens have three options for voting in a foreign country.

  1. You can vote electronically on the website valimised.ee/en from February 27th until  March  4th 2023. To vote electronically, a voter will need a secure computer with an internet connection and an ID-card with a reader, or a mobile-ID.
  2.  To vote by mail, you must send your application to vote to your chosen representation no later than 3 February 2023. A voter who wishes to vote by post has to submit a written application to the Estonian foreign mission. A copy of an identity document must be appended to the application. The application must have been received the foreign mission not later than Feb 19th . More information on voting by mail valimised.ee/en 
  3. It is possible to vote in Tel Aviv at Embassy

    Feb 19 th at 13.00 -15.00

    FeB 20 th  at 10.00-16.00
